Unity Stables Board Rates:
Effective Feb 2009Full Board: 10 x 10 stalls: $325/month 12 x 12 stalls: $350month
Includes: Stall, group turn-out, daily stall cleaning, bedding, feeding 2X/day of hay, grain (up to 6lbs/day) and watering.
Foaling Stall: $375/month, increases to $400 the 1st of the month following birth. If foaling stall is required for additional mares, the same fee applies when moved to a 12x12 stall until weaning. Incl. Straw (up to 10 bales) until Navel heals. Includes Paddock Turn-Out.
Foaling Stall: used for non-foaling purposes: $365/month
Full Board-Paddock Turn-Out: $40 + Full board rate.
Includes: Same as full board above except horse is limited to paddock turn-out only. Minimum turn-out time of 4 hours/day.
Pasture Board: $240/month
Includes hay or pasture, grain 2x/day (up to 3 lbs/day) and water. Pasture board horses are entitled to 3 days per month of stall lay-up time due to medical reasons. Days do not accumulate each month. Should horse require additional time, there will be a $3.00 per day rate added to the board. Pasture board is seasonally offered (Apr-Oct)
Stallion Board: 10x10 stall $375/month 12x12 stall $400/month
Includes all full board amenities. Limited and supervised individual turn-out time.
Overnight/Short-term Stabling:
- 1-5 Days:
- $18/day, Unity Stables provided hay and grain.
- $14/day, Owner provided hay and grain.
- 6-30 Days: Regular monthly fees apply, based on type of board, divided by # of days, plus $25 short term fee.
Unity Stables utilizes available bedding that is both cost effective and also effective in its use. This can vary with sawdust, shavings and pellets. Each horse is different in its consumption and customers horses that require excessive amounts above and beyond what we can affordably offer will be charged an additional fee, based on what product is being used. If this pertains to any horse, Unity Stables will speak to that individual owner in regards to costs.
Turn out times will vary depending on the season and weather. Horses with turnout privileges will be so, as much as weather permits, based on the judgement of Unity Stables, unless owner reasonably instructs otherwise.
Billing: You will be billed for board, lesson and training packages in advance. All pick up services are kept track of and charged on the next months board bill.
