Unity Stables Board Services and Rates:

Stabling:

• Extra Bedding (up to 2x amt. Of normal use.) - actual cost
• Extra hay - actual cost
• Extra or specialty Grain/Feed - actual cost
• Beet Pulp - $20/mo.
• Blanket Rotation (when done on a daily basis) - $15/mo.

Maintenance:

• Deworming Maintenance (every 8 weeks) - $10/mo.
• Basic clip (ears, fetlocks, muzzle, bridle-path) - $15-1X
• Basic groom - $5-1X
• Basic groom package (12X per month) - $50/mo.
• Bathe and condition (owner provided supplies) - $15-1X
• Sheath cleaning - $15-1X
• Teat cleaning - $10-1X
• Body clipping - $75-$100
• Show Preparation (incl. Clip, bathe, groom) - $35
• Show braiding mane - $30
• Show braiding tail - $15

Vet/Medical:

Handling (vet/farrier/dentist) - $5 per 20 min. increments

Hand Walking - $5 per 20 min. increments

Cold hose/foot soak - $5 per 20 min. increments

Medication Administering (topical, oral or optic) - $2-1X

Certain services require additional person(s) to perform. If assistants are required, an additional fee will apply. Under certain circumstances, necessary custom or specialized services could potentially arise that may not be listed under these fees. In situations as such, Unity Stables will, when time allows, provide customer with the fee prior to services being administered. Injectable and prescription medications that are to be given by the farm will only be administered at the discretion of farm manager. A signed medical authorization form will be on file for all horses boarded at Unity Stables.

All medications, wraps or other supplies necessary for treatment are to be provided by the horse owner.

It is a requirement for all boarders to purchase a heated water bucket when your horse is stabled during any or all of the months of November thru April.

Billing: You will be billed for board, lesson. Training or specialty packages in advance. All pick up services are kept track of and charged on the next months board bill.
